It's A Pod's Life

On your next trip to Borough Market, pop round to Southwark Cathedral, where you'll find this mega Dr Who-style tardis. We love its futuristic origami design. It was created as part of Time and Tides, a sweet project that gave London school children the chance to have their time-machine designs made real by teams of architects. The original plan for the pictured pod, by Huw Bennett and Tim Greeny, was a folded piece of paper. Once inside the pod, you can watch animated films put together by the children, with the help of the BBC. Silly, strange and slightly surreal, it shows what happens if you put the kids in charge.
