Chloe Autumn/Winter 2010/11 Collection

Saturday 16 July 2011

based on paler shades of brown color and fresh take on traditional designs. Just like Cerruti Fall 2010 Collection presented at Paris Fashion Week, a lot of brown designer dresses for women were exhibited by designer Hannah MacGibbon. Show opened with a model wearing long sleeved silk blouse and high-waist flared trousers. Then came models parading in knitwear, classic menswear overcoats that were very wearable. Models were looking elegant in blown-out Charlie girl hairstyle.
Designer tried to do something different from what past designers of Chloe like Phoebe Philo and Stella McCartney have done like girly dressing, jingly-jangly bags and statement shoes. MacGibbon avoided all frills, prints, funny bags, and chunky clogs by stripping hardware and logos of bags. Footwear renovated as caramel riding boots and springy soled wedges looked interesting.
Collection included leather fringing and one pair of velvet, gold-embroidered jeans that turned up in second half, blouse worn with a skirt tailored to flare toward a mid-calf length. In all Chloe Fall 2010 RTW Collection was wearble and pleasing, without much of bling.
